The Foundation for Education offers scholarships to at-risk youth and students with special needs.
arts education
The Foundation is committed to supporting arts education and making it a priority in Imperial County! Today more than ever, creativity and appreciation for the arts is important for all students to enjoy a well-rounded education.
Each year in May, the Foundation for Education sponsors the Imperial County Arts Festival.
The Foundation for Education exhibits and auctions Student Art during its Annual Autumn & the Arts Fundraiser Dinner Event in October.
COUNTYWIDE STUDENT EVENTS
The Foundation for Education supports a variety of countywide student events such as the Science Fair, the Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, and more. The Foundation helps ensure Imperial County students have ample opportunities to showcase their talents throughout the year.
The Foundation for Education is committed to sending Imperial County’s Spelling Bee Champion to compete in the National Scripps Spelling Bee.
Monte Vista Sports and wellness park
Plans are underway to build a large complex on an 50-acre parcel adjacent to ICOE’s office. Hundreds of children and families will soon be enjoying the outdoors, playing and watching soccer on manicured fields surrounded by state-of-art facilities. The Foundation is currently accepting donations from individuals who wish to contribute to the Monte Vista Park campaign.
